My struggle is a common one; for years, I and many other homeowners in Sunnyside Washington have been paying for irrigation services. Sadly, we still do not have these services, despite our ongoing contributions. It's puzzling and deeply frustrating to see new homes being built around us, with irrigation included, while we who've been here for years are left high and dry.

Every homeowner should receive the services for which they have paid. Considering that 70.8% of the world's water use goes towards irrigation (FAO, 2016), it's clear that this service greatly contributes to our societal welfare and overall quality of life. But how can it, if it is not actually provided?

Our solution is simple: immediate implementation of irrigation services for those who have paid but not received the service. This will ensure the rights of homeowners are not only protected but exercised. We are not just fighting for water; we're fighting for fairness. It is time to hold those responsible for delivering our services accountable.
