Abanon National High School is dearly beloved by its students, staff, and surrounding community. It provides exceptional education to hundreds of young minds, shaping them into tomorrow's leaders. In an effort to further improve the holistic development of our students, we are proposing the implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan, or School Gardening, a program designed to promote environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle among participants. This initiative has been shown to result in more physically active students, reduced obesity rates, and enhanced mental health as per studies conducted by the Department of Education. Additionally, gardening can also provide hands-on learning opportunities within curricula such as science, mathematics, and health education. We urge you to support the introduction of Gulayan sa Paaralan at Abanon National High School as we believe it will bring enormous benefits to our students and broader community.
