My name is anonym, and I am one of the many Iowans earning a low income. Each month, after paying a hefty rent of $500, I am left with precious little to cover other vital expenses. Costs for essentials like Wi-Fi, groceries, dental and medical care are difficult to bear. As the ACP program is also being phased out, finding financial stability can feel like a distant dream. I know I don't stand alone in this struggle; countless others in our state bear the same burden, and it's high time we address this issue.

Inflation is a harsh reality that we all grapple with, and the problem is only exacerbated for those of us with limited means. A guaranteed basic income would be a gamechanger for Iowans across the spectrum, regardless of their income level.

The benefits of such a proposal would be immense. It would help alleviate poverty for those with no income and provide additional financial security for those with low incomes. It could even offer a chance for a better life for the unfortunate individuals living on the streets.

Implementing a Guaranteed Basic Income plan for everyone in Iowa would offer financial stability and hope for many.
