We, the members of the communities surrounding the A534 at Farndon and Holt, have been personally impacted by the recent tragedies that took several lives at both junctions. This tragedy is not only devastating to local villages but it affects the surrounding areas and overall road safety. We have all been touched by the lives lost and fear the danger that the junctions currently pose. Therefore, we call upon both Wrexham and Chester Council to work together to address this safety crisis. We urge them to implement urgent measures, such as the installation of traffic lights and the reduction in speed limits. Increased enforcement is also needed to ensure these measures are taken seriously by all road users. Action must be taken swiftly to prevent future fatalities and to promote safety for all who travel along this route. The time for action is now. We ask everyone who values life and safety to join us in our plea by signing this petition.
