Such adjustments should be approved by the American public rather than those who stand to gain.

Additionally, the privilege of Congress receiving exceptional health care packages, often dubbed "golden healthcare," must be scrutinized and adjusted. Taxpayers should not be responsible for subsidizing an elitist benefit structure that most Americans do not enjoy.
