Furthermore, comprehensive knowledge about various contraception methods such as condoms - their effectiveness and potential side effects - empowers individuals to make informed decisions based on their personal health preferences.

The lack of comprehensive sex education in schools contributes significantly to the high teen pregnancy rates in the Philippines. According to a 2019 report by the Commission on Population (POPCOM), there were around 500 teenagers who got pregnant daily. This alarming statistic underscores the urgent need for action.

We urge local authorities in Caloocan City to implement comprehensive sex education programs that will equip our youth with necessary knowledge about safe sexual practices. Let's protect our young people's futures by empowering them with information today.
