I have been a loyal commuter on the NIBS 81 bus for the past six years, depending on it daily to travel across Brentwood. Over the years, I've noticed a concerning decline in the frequency of this essential service. What once was a convenient lifeline for many travelers has now been reduced to just one bus per hour. This has significantly restricted movement for people like me who rely on the bus for daily activities, work commutes, and appointments.

The current state of NIBS bus schedules fails to meet the demands of our community. Essex residents deserve a public transport system that accommodates their needs efficiently and reliably. Students, workers, and the elderly are among those affected by the reduced frequency, leading to longer wait times and increased inconvenience.

Increasing the frequency of the NIBS 81 bus to every half hour can greatly enhance our daily commute experience.
