I live in Easton, PA, and like many others here, I rely on cars to get around. But Every single day I watch as buses further delay the already lengthy travel times. The transportation system here is inadequate for our needs, which is why I'm advocating for a comprehensive subway system across the Lehigh Valley. 

The implementation of a subway system can significantly reduce travel time and increase the overall efficiency of public transportation. Cities like New York and Washington D.C. have demonstrated the effectiveness of such systems, they transport an average of 4.3 million and 626,000 passengers daily, respectively (source: American Public Transportation Association). Applying a similar model here could revolutionize our infrastructure, benefiting not only commuters' lives but also local businesses since a subway system would make it easier for potential customers to access their services.

We, the citizens of Easton need a better, faster, and reliable mode of transportation. It's not just about commuting but also improving the quality of life, and paving the way for societal and economic growth in the Lehigh Valley.
