I am writing this from a place of frustration. On Friday, the 2nd of August 2024, I was left stranded in the central business district of Cape Town when the 19:25 Golden Arrow bus failed to show up. I work till 18:00 every day, which means I most often miss the 18:00 bus home to Blue Downs which passes through Wesbank where I live. 

It's not just about me. Many of us in Blue Downs are in the same predicament. With Cape Town being one of the most crowded cities in South Africa and with limited public transportation, it is crucial to extend the bus services for the convenience and safety of all those who depend on it.

We are asking Golden Arrow and the local authorities to organize a 18.30 bus from Cape Town to Blue Downs, which would greatly benefit many people. As per the survey progressed by us, we already have over 30+ daily commuters who are willing to sign this petition and share their contact numbers to support this cause. Let's make a change together. Please sign this petition to add a new bus route and improve the lives of many Cape Town Commuters.
