Every day in Salem, innocent bystanders and bike riders are put at risk due to the rash driving of public and private bus drivers. Time and again, these drivers exceed safe speed limits, resulting in accidents, injuries, and even deaths. Fatalities continue to rise alarmingly, and existing measures simply aren't enough to curb this trend.

Even when fatal accidents don't occur, the aggressive driving of bus drivers creates a sense of fear among bike riders, often forcing them off their road lanes. This environment not only jeopardizes public safety but also contributes to an uncomfortable and distressing atmosphere for those commuting on our roads.

Despite the tragic and shocking statistics, there seems to be a lack of urgency in addressing this issue. For the well-being of our community, we need immediate action. We urge the local authorities in Salem, Tamil Nadu to enforce a maximum speed limit of 60kmh &40kmh speed limit for private and public buses for highway and local area . Reducing the speed limit is a critical step toward ensuring the safety of all road users in our community. We cannot wait for another tragedy to strike before action is taken.
We also ask the authority to taken motor license action not limiting only to the driving license of the driver but also to the bus route license of the bus when an violation accident happens by the bus transport . 

It hurts to see young innocent kids loosing their precious life to the careless and reckless driving and We call upon our fellow citizens, not just in Salem , Omalur , Mettur , Ellampillai , Thoppur ,Tharamangalam , Yercaud ,Rasipuram and other  in and surroundings to support this measure, standing together to promote road safety.
