With the newly reminted TNA Heavyweight Title being awarded at the Impact Wrestling Rebellion PPV on April 28 2020, the wrestling community, along with Impact Wrestling Management (Scott "Tuggles" D'Amore and Lord Cyrus of Maldovia), have an opportunity to right a great injustice in this world.  

For far too long, one man, known to many around the world as simply The Superior One, Glenn Gilbertti (Formerly The Disco Inferno of WCW- World Championship Wrestling fame) hasn't gotten the opportunity, or chance to shine atop the ladder of the professional wrestling world.

As one of the "TNA Originals", back when Impact wrestling was first known as NWA-TNA Wrestling, Glenn Gilbertti gave his blood, sweat, tears and superior knowledge to the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment. In return, he was never given what was more than deserved- a shot at the TNA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship.

Even when he had control of "The Book", alongside famed wrestling writer Vincent Russo, the opportunity was not given.  With the knowledge of the fact that Mr Gilbertti could have easily written himself into the storylines to win the heavyweight title, like Mr Russo had done previously during his writing stint in WCW, most would say he is a humble and honourable student of the game that always puts others over himself.  This selfless act, although noble and kind-hearted, unfortunately did not allow for The Superior One to become The King of The Mountain in TNA.

Now is the opportunity for the world to rise up and right this injustice so that future generations will be able to revel at the fact that a great man, Glenn Gilbertti truly was a champion of the sport of professional wrestling. Glenn GIlbertti deserves a shot at the TNA Heavyweight Championship!
