Another terrible blow for Brandon Park Shopping Centre!  After the closure of the WestPac bank branch comes the news that the Australia Post shop at Brandon Park Shopping Centre will close this July, 2023.  The reason is unclear but it can't be due to lack of business, given that many people (especially the non-computer savvy elderly) use the shop to pay their bills, many businesses do their postage there and people renew licences and passports there.  To me and many others it appears to be economic rationalism gone mad.  Also there is an element of community obligation.  The post office is owned by tax payers and exists to provide services for taxpayers.  Please sign this petition and I will ensure it is well advertised and then passed on to the powers that be at Australia Post.
