Cancer affects so many of us, and researchers continue to find new treatments to help such patients. Some of these new treatments are not yet offered in Canada, and so some cancer patients must be able to travel to other countries such as the United States to access them.

I ask you to sign this petition to support cancer patients accessing life-saving clinic trials and treatments outside of Canada being deemed an "essential service" and thus exempt from any border and quarantine restrictions.

It is absolutely appalling that these people are not given an exemption when they will likely die if they do not access these treatments. Such a policy by the Canadian government can only be described as cruel and inhumane.

I urge Canada to immediately make an exception for all cancer patients who require treatment outside of Canada from all border restrictions and quarantine measures.
