We know we are in the midst of election chaos, but it has been a while since our last update. Today, DHS/ICE granted an additional three (3) months for Javier to remain in the United States. He was scheduled to report to the DHS/ICE office again today, but we have thankfully been able to obtain this extension. As always, we thank everyone for their continued support in his extremely compelling case. Our case before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals continues as well, with the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the process quite a bit. Regardless of the election results, we firmly believe that the important work involved in fighting for Javier and his family has shown that Immigration remains an important and critical issue, deserving attention from BOTH political parties and our leaders in government.
