Zoe Guidry started this petition to Illuminati and

I was late for Chemistry today, but so was the better part of the lecture, confirming what we all already know, no one likes Tuesdays. Not to mention once everyone sat down, a banging noise from the construction outside the building began rattling through the classroom like a church bell. Originally, this petition was part of a larger plan to make every week day a Friday, but I understand the improbability of that wish, and sometimes we have to accept that we need help to make change, and progress is a journey. So, I’ve formulated a plan, and I need your help. We all hate Mondays, that’s a given, but sometimes we need to accept our realities and acknowledge their values in out life, and in turn, in society. For instance, we need Mondays, they mark the beginning of the work week, and unite us all humans for hatred of this singular day where we do need to get out of bed and stop being lazy. Furthermore, Fridays are great. Everyone knows by Friday, you’re coasting, the only energy pushing you forward is the residue from the effort you gave earlier the week and the knowledge that you have nothing to do later in the day because you can push it back to Sunday night. These are parts of our reality we have to accept. However, I’d like to pose a question, what’s the deal with the rest of the weekdays? With Mondays being the days we hate, and Fridays being the days we love, what function do Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays serve in our our society? As days we kinda like and kinda don’t like? That doesn’t help us. Let’s eliminate these days from our calendar as a symbol to remove mediocrity and monotony from our lives, and society, to live only in extremes, Mondays and Fridays. Also, remember that time you got Wednesday wrong on a spelling test in second grade, well that’s a tragedy Gen Z-ers will never have to face.
