I am a Venezuelan, I had to leave not by choice but by necessity. Leaving my family, my roots because of the unyielding dictatorship that has dominated my beloved homeland in the last 25 years. Families, much like mine, are suffering indiscriminately. Day in and day out, citizens are kidnapped, horrifically tortured, and even brutally murdered. We need your help to fight this egregious violation of human values.

Venezuela's most recent elections in 2024 were devoid of any semblance of democracy. Where the voice of every citizen once mattered, manipulation and injustice have now taken residence. Human rights, once upheld as the foundation of a democratic society, are trampled upon blatantly.

According to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Venezuela has been identified as a country with a staggering number of extrajudicial executions, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detentions, and torture cases. This has engendered a humanitarian crisis of grave proportions.

We write this petition in the fervent hope that international organizations and governments worldwide acknowledge the current crisis in Venezuela.
