The victims of this situation deserve a public apology. Min Heejin and NewJeans directly and indirectly manipulated public opinion in opposition to other teams at Hybe, especially LeSserafim, and ILLIT, to the point of committing perjury, slander, defamation, and inflicting emotional damage.

How did they do this?

• Hybe wanted to fire former Ador CEO Min Heejin for tampering and leaking company information. Text messages between MHJ and her former vice president, Lee Dokyoung, got out of them plotting to take Ador and NewJeans from Hybe. MHJ decided to take control of the narrative by adding ILLIT's and LSFM's teams into the mess, claiming that Hybe favored them over NewJeans. And this "mistreatment" is why they're trying to fire her. Bunnies were already attacking every other group under the sun claiming that they're copying NewJeans for simple things like bubble fonts and glitter. For almost a year instead of taking Hybe to court for their claims, they decided to subject other Hybe girl groups to public rage in comparison. Literally and figuratively throwing them to the wolves. And when both LSFM and ILLIT's team members spoke out about how they've been struggling because of this situation they get attacked online by NewJeans's fandom as well. It's odd how bunnies willingly believe anything NewJeans says about how they've been 'wronged', 'bullied', or "mistreated,' while refusing to see how NewJeans has used their notoriety and popularity over their label mates as pawns to get out of their contracts.
• Despite what bunnies said, for months NewJeans supported MHJ in every statement she made and every action she took. At no point in time did they separate themselves from the narratives she spread. Days after MHJ name-dropped other Hybe groups which led them to get hate on NewJeans's behalf, they got on national television and cut Eunchae off from speaking just to personally thank MHJ. This made bunnies even more confident in their public ridicule of all Hybe groups. NewJeans even said they wanted to protect their junior and senior labelmates, just to make zero effort in doing so. They didn't even do the bare minimum of asking the public not to compare them to any other group or hate anyone, likely because they were going to use that exact thing for their defense in court. Their actions and words are about as contradictory as a Trump supporter claiming to want to protect immigrants.
• Months later it was proven that NewJeans lied when they retold a defamatory story on live and at the Korean National Assembly they labeled as 'workplace bullying.' This story resulted in Belift staff, ILLIT, and the new Ador CEO, Kim Juyoung, getting constantly harassed. What makes this even worse is that NewJeans publicly called for the reprimand or penalty for the Belift staff member they lied about committing workplace bullying in their list of demands from Ador.
• A few days ago, in a court of law, NewJeans accused Hybe of showing favoritism towards LeSserafim and mistreating them in comparison because they got a brand deal from Louis Vuitton. Their accusation was that Hybe took their brand deal and gave it to LSFM instead and that Ador should have acknowledged LSFM's brand deal beforehand. And NewJeans admitted to calling Louis Vuitton and questioning them about their decision to work with LSFM. They are grasping at straws trying to make ILLIT and LSFM seem like rivals they need taken down to have prosperous carriers without genuine care for how that is harming their lives.

1.  NewJeans were literally already ambassadors for billion-dollar brands like Chanel, Burberry, YSL beauty, Levi's, Dior, Nike, etc. months before LSFM became ambassadors for LV.
2. LSFM and LV already had a relationship built up because they'd invited them to fashion shows.
3. Louis Vuitton had a pre-established relationship with Hybe because BTS was the company's first-ever brand ambassador a year before NewJeans even debuted. And NewJeans didn't seek the approval of BigHit or BTS before they started working with the brand.
4. It's absolutely insane to feel entitled to getting brand deals at all, but it's especially insane for NewJeans to think they have a say in who brands, and other groups work with.

There's even more to this story than I've explained. NewJeans and Min Heejin can do whatever they want with their careers, but I don't think it's fair for their wants to be at the expense of innocent people's livelihoods. Teams at Hybe have faced non-stop harassment and bullying as a direct result of NJ and MHJ's actions. As someone who's not even a fan of either group, I believe, at the very least, they deserve a public apology from NewJeans and Min Heejin for their influence over these groups getting hate.
