We as parents are all concerned about sending our children back to school amidst a global pandemic.  However there are things the schools can do to ease some of this concern and increase safety measures with in the classrooms and school buildings.  If all the mitigation strategies below cannot be achieve we are requesting a remote learning option to be available to families who request this option until pandemic numbers improve. 
What we are requesting:

1.  We are requesting the enhancement of the covid dashboard to include consistent communication between schools and parents regarding covid 19 cases, changes to the current plan, quarantine measures and vaccination rates.

2. Schools to opt in to testing that has been provided to them free of charge by the CDC in order to decrease the number of students with Covid 19 in the building.

3.  New lunching arrangement, with the consideration of outdoor dining. 

4. Classroom seating arrangements to be changed to allow for adequate footing between each student and all facing the same direction for adequate air flow.

6. A robust ventilation system to allow for clean virus free air flow.

7.  Buses to be De-densified and be monitored to ensure the safety of students during travel.
