After the unexpected death of Carlos Marín, baritone of the quartet, The remaining 3 members of the group decided to continue the unfinished tour; For this, the baritone Steven LaBrie joined to continue being a quartet as the beginning. This is not intended to forget the memory of Carlos, but to keep it alive through the group in its original format.
Who is Steven LaBrie?
Steven was born in Dallas, Texas, of Mexican descent. He was named among the top five lyric baritones to watch by Opera News. He is an actor, lyrical opera singer and has a baritone voice.
He has received numerous awards and honors, including the 2016 Top Prize and a 2013 George London Music Foundation Stimulus Grant. In 2010, he was a recipient of the Washington, DC Stimulus Award for the Metropolitan Opera National Council. He was also awarded First Place in the Dallas Opera Guild Vocal Competition and Second Place in the Palm Beach Opera Competition in 2008, where he performed in the grand winner's concert accompanied by the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra.
