A project to modernize the school system and make education easier.

• Goal: To get use of GAFE in school via help of smartphones and chromebooks.

What is GAFE?

• GAFE stands for Google Apps for Education.
  In todays generation, everyone has advanced. Slowly everything is being digitalized.
• GAFE provides students and teachers tools like Powerpoint, Word, Excel and etc. all in one place where both teachers and students and share stuff with each other just with a click.
• GAFE provides student with very helpful tools that are fun and easy to use and helps a lot while doing homework, working and class and it makes everything simpler.

Where is GAFE used?

• GAFE is currently being used at many schools with the help of the digital devices like smartphones, tablets and laptops etc. and is going successful. I have been using the project for a while and it is pretty good.
• GAFE is spreading around the world pretty fast. Almost 2/6 schools have started working on this project. 
• About 50 million students and teachers use GAFE and about 10 million schools use Google Classroom.

What does GAFE gives to the student?

• GAFE provides students and teachers with tools like powerpoint, word, excel.
• GAFE is like a cloud based hard-drive which stores all the data which can be acessed at home, office, school or wherever you are.
• The teachers and students can share the files with each other just by a click.
• You are able to give feedbacks and it works exactly as your notebook and in there you can create your own presentations.

Why use GAFE and what can it do?

• GAFE will make work easier for students, as in our school we are still working on books and stuff. It will make our work faster and easier.

• The share option will make the students work better, for example if a teacher makes a presentation and for student help, they can share it with student so students can access it wherever they are and practice on it. It will help a lot while test preparations.

• With the comment and the suggestion option, the teachers can easily tell the student what he is weak in.

• There will be no physical homework needed means no more homework excuses, how? Simply the student will have responsibility to share the work they have done it in the GAFE with you so no more forgetting the papers home.
• Gafe will help in groupworks, if a assignment is given in a group, that group can teamwork and solve it and others will not be able to see it. They will be able to post suggestions about it. GAFE is about to make study more simpler and easier.
• School assignments will be easier. Students can easily make presentations on their GAFE and show it in the class, a fun and a great way to work!
• Teachers can easily upload their tasks on GAFE so students will be notified all the time.

What we do?

• We do have chromebooks but the usage is 0% and why? Because we don’t work using the technology.
• Google has introduced GAFE on every single device, students will be able to use their smartphones to use GAFE. GAFE can be accessed by any device like via web, app or chromebook.
• Actually we do have GAFE but this proposal means that we should start using it. It’s a better way to learn and teach for both students and teachers.
  Teachers are already using GAFE but now I think it’s time for students to integrate on this facility.
• Schools are slowly shifting onto GAFE and many have already done. Even we are one of the best schools so I guess we should take advantage of this. Even now books have started to come in digital form.
• Technology is getter better and cheaper therefore must we advance. GAFE gives facility and power to every students and provides everything they need.
• They can study wherever they are, they can revise it wherever they are, they can send their homeworks wherever they are.
• The project is already being used by the teachers and if the students gets it, It will be more fun in class with study and everything will be much simpler and easier. Tests will be hopefully better.

What school can do?

• We already have GAFE and chromebooks and most of the majority does have a smartphone.
• School will be needed to give students access to have students smartphone in class if GAFE is needed in class or something similar will happen.
• The school will be needed to give the internet to the students so they can connect and stay tuned with GAFE.
• The chromebooks should be organised and for each class and student so if they don’t have a smartphone, they can use their chromebook for it.
• We need to show this technology to other students so we can start getting to know about it so we can use it in the school so we should start by the introduction.

If this change happens then this change will be very big. Thanks to IES for this change if this project succeeds.

What students can do?

• Students should have charged smartphones and should be only used if needed in class room.
• Students should not violate the rules.
• If not followed then maybe the project fails.

Why I want it?

• As I’m an experienced user of google products and as I have used GAFE, I thought that getting GAFE to this school would be great! The students will perform better and the homeworks will be easy to do. With just one click we can share stuff with each other and prepare for our tests.
• I think it’s a great way for all of us to learn, I would be a lot thankful to the school if this project will be accepted.
