Hi my name is Scarlet Gonzalez and I am a student at Libra Academy. Our students with intellectual disabilities are being kicked out from Linda Marquez (LIBRA) because of LAUSD . Karen, Nathan, Samantha, Kevin and Jauri are losing their great education from staff in Libra just because there’s only 5 students and they want that classroom to put an other full class. Ms Delgado and Ms.blancarte are both losing their jobs because of this injustice movement from the district. Just because these students need extra help shouldn’t mean that they have to be kicked off our school since it’s been their community for more than 2 years.I’m not only spreading awareness as a student I’m also spreading awareness as a sister because I have a little sister with special needs who will also need this program to succeed and with LAUSD trying to remove this program it will affect my sisters dreams and it will affect my dream to spend a year with my sister in high school. With your guys’s help we can prevent the district from kicking off our idm class please help us your signature means a lot to our friends.
