Bethesda Softworks has built an impressive array of games that capture the imagination and loyalty of players worldwide. However, an ongoing issue haunts many of us who transition from console to PC, or vice versa: the inability to transfer our in-game purchases and cosmetics across platforms. As someone who has spent time, effort, and money collecting cosmetics and participating in the 76 seasons within Bethesda's games like for this instance Fallout 76, I find it deeply unfair that these digital assets do not carry over when I switch platforms.

I've invested my hard-earned money and time in building and customizing my gaming experience, acquiring cosmetics from different seasons and making purchases through the Atomic Shop. However, every time I transition from console to PC, I'm forced to see I can't access to items I rightfully own. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a barrier preventing many players like myself from fully enjoying the games we love on our platform of choice.

We should not be required to make duplicate purchases to atomic shop items just to have them in our other consoles inventory collecting dust! Having to wait to rebuy EVERYTHING or wait for Vault rotations for something not even to come back even though you own it somewhere else feels unnecessary and exploitative, mirroring a wider issue in digital ownership and consumer rights within the gaming industry.

We are simply asking Bethesda to implement a cross-platform transfer system for digital items. This would allow players to enjoy the full range of their purchases regardless of whether they play on PC or console. An effective cross-platform system would foster greater player satisfaction and loyalty, showing that Bethesda values its players' investments.

Games like Fortnite, Call of Duty and Rocket League have successfully implemented similar systems. Bethesda can – and should – take similar steps. This petition calls upon Bethesda Softworks to acknowledge this issue and provide a practical solution for all its dedicated players so we can support the game further.

This will be a long wait, and we need a lot of people to sign this, but if we can reach the top brass, and they agree, we will make history.
