Pride is no longer a sin because there's nothing wrong with having pride in your country, your culture, even yourself.

I pledge to raise my flags with pride and a smile. I, like many others, have more than one flag: the American flag is my culture, but the LGBT flag is my community and I'm very proud of both. While, at the same time, I choose to raise others' flags in support for them! You may just have one flag, you may have more than two or five, however many you have, raise them and show the world you're proud of who you are, what you support, and where you're from!

A lot of people disagree with me, but I've never met more supportive people than those in the gay community which makes me even more proud to be a part of such a great community. I have never been more proud of anything in my life, so I feel confident enough to raise the gay pride flag in support until the day I die.

I also pledge to NEVER let anyone tell me that what I'm supporting is wrong and I hope you'll also turn a deaf ear to the negative comments. I know it's not always easy to ignore the hurtful and closed-minded things people can say, but just remember, you're not alone.
