We’ve been at it for a week with this petition, and while interest (and signatures) seems to have waned a little, I’d like to share some encouraging statistics.

We exceeded 6k signatures overnight!!

While this might not seem like a huge number, statistically petitions attract about one signature per 25 views. With just over 70k views, we’re currently running at under 12 views per signature! This is a huge encouragement.

Also; I’ve been informed that many signatories will have to be asked or promoted up to 7 times before they sign. I’m sure this is a reflection of our busy lifestyles and the fact that most of us aren’t glued to our devices, but I would be very grateful if you could continue sharing across your networks.
