If you've attended Hutt Valley High School, you I'm sure; will be aware of the amazing teachers and deans. Specifically Miss Arnell & Mr Devine, two of the most caring, invested and genuine deans / teachers one could ask for. In 2020 they will have been deans for nearly 10 years together. The duo have seen and supported 100's of pupils through the journey that is high school - and have done an incredible job at it.

Hutt Valley High School are rejecting to see this impact, and are proposing they step down to let fresh Deans take their place so they can have a turn. This is not fair, and doesn't see impactful individuals able to continue doing something they love, and are so incredibly valuable within.

So if you've had Miss Arnell / Mr Devine, and you believe good high impact work should be rewarded by being able to continue flourishing in this job - then sign this petition. It's not about everyone having a go, it's about those who are making great things happen being supported in continuing to do so.
