Bring Back the Real Herbie Husker
The Issue
It is time to acknowledge the elephant in the room. The "new" Herbie Husker was foisted upon us, the fan base, without consent. This unwarranted change took place 17 years ago, in 2003.
No one likes it, no one wanted it. Ever since that happened, our program has never been the same.
Coincidence? I think not.
Out with the new. In with the old.
We the fan base of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, in order to (re)form a more perfect program, (re)establish dominance, insure conference superiority, promote our historical awesomeness, and secure the blessing of Tom Osborne to our team and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this petition for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to remove the "newer" Herbie and to REINSTATE THE CLASSIC HERBIE HUSKER.
