Recently, it has been announced that "Hybrid" classes will take place for the Fall 2021 semester. This has left many students confused about how transitioning back will work. Many students are not living in NYC, taking care of family members, or working extra hours. With no guidance, many are confused and do not know how to plan for the Fall semester. Some students are also not vaccinated and scared to return back to the classroom. With masks and social distancing, it might make the semester more difficult for some. 

We know that some students are very eager to get back in the classroom. We think for "Hybrid" options, students should be able to choose whether or not they will attend In-Person or Online. This has brought up many problems with my peers who had to move out of NYC because they could not afford the rent while not working through the pandemic. There are no clear directions on how this next semester will play out and it has left students stressed and unable to plan for the upcoming semester.
