Having good faith on September 8, 2021 after just getting into a wreck, I went to AUTO MAXX(1908 Blalock Rd. Houston, Tx) for a vehicle. I was promised the best service and they were able to help me with a reasonable down payment. Finding the car I was ok with, after going through a few on the lot(filled with cigarette smoke, stained and holey seats with the smell of heat and dirty clothes) I found a 2007 Dodge Caliber.

 Before test driving there was a Check Engine Light on, I took it straight to Auto Zone to get the code. Returning to the lot, I was told they could fix it so of course I believed them. I left a $200 deposit reassuring them of me wanting the vehicle. September 9, 2021 I was told when checking the status of the work needed done, they said it would be ready at 12noon only to finally get it by 6:00pm. The light was off so I paid the remaining balance for a down payment only to find out I had made a huge mistake.

 Leaving the lot and returning with a family member to pick up my other vehicle I had driven there to purchase the car, my vehicle ran hot, and also stopped on us. Once the car cooled off we made it, only to see the same code the dealership "FIXED"  From brakes dragging to acceleration issues, everything went wrong, I WAS SOLD A DEFECTIVE CAR. I was given a limited warranty(30day) but nothing was granted nor was the contract taken into consideration. 

 I was taken for a ride and I'm told involuntary or voluntarily returning the car there's no refund. My contract stated I could at least get a partial payment in return. It hadn't even been a full 24hrs. before I had to return it. I know I am not the only who has experienced a faulty car from a dealership or DEALER FRAUD and for that, LET'S FINALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
