STOP ASSAULTING AND KILLING AFGHANS IRAN

The Issue

This movement has been joined by Afghans in London to call on all Member States of the UN Human Rights Council, European Commission, and Iranian Government in the form of peaceful protests to Stop Killing Afghans.
The current incidents in Iran have been marked in recent weeks by another human rights crisis. In addition to supporting the resolution, we call on you to publicly condemn the grave human rights violations that continue to be perpetrated by the Iranian Regime and to help ensure those responsible are held to account.

I referred you to the very recent devastating event that occurred on 03rd June 2020, where 14 Afghan Immigrants attacked the Iranian Police on open gunfire in Iran's Central Yazd province after their vehicle was shot and triggering the fire.
Out of 14 Afghans immigrants, the three Afghans were killed and burned, and another four were injured. The video footage posted on social media showed a boy escaping from the blazing car with burns on parts of his body, begging for water. The boy's plea of "Give me some water; I am burning."
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi issued a statement saying that the incident in question had taken place on Afghan soil. This classic Iranian dictating and irresponsible statement, as the incident in question, had taken place in the central Yazd province of Iran. Yazd city is not even close Afghanistan's border. We are deeply concerned at the disproportionate and inappropriate response by some Iranian authorities.

The Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman, Degrading Treatment, Punishment, commonly known as the United Nations Convention against Torture (UNCAT)) is an international human rights treaty, under the review of the United Nations. Iran has no right to kill Afghan refugees, and we are demanding justices, Afghans have for decades sought refuge in Iran from war and poverty in their homeland.

Last month, Iranian Border Guards killed 45 Afghan migrant workers by forcing them at gunpoint into a mountain torrent on the border. This devastating event occurred on 06/05/2020. The 45 Afghans were drowned after attempting to seek refuge at the Iranian when Iranian Police Guards beat them and threw them into the River. Amongst those who drowned was 19-year Abdulbari, who travelled from Afghanistan to Iran in search of work to provide for his family back home in Afghanistan.
Lighting more detail of the tragic event, the Afghans workers were brought to the bank of the River, beaten and ordered to jump in the River to go back to Afghanistan and Iranian Border Guards forcing Afghan migrants into a raging mountain torrent at gunpoint. Those who could swim then jumped into the deep, fast-flowing water, while the others were beaten up, being shot before jumping and being pushed in. From 57 workers who were forced into the River by Iranian Border Guards, only 12 managed to survive.
The Iranian official said that they will investigate the incident, yet nothing progressed.

We Afghans urge you to ensure the Council takes action to address serious human rights violations and abuses that continue to be committed by the Iranian Regime. We urge to call on Iranian authorities to arrest and prosecute those involved in this violent incident.

The Human Rights Act 1998 sets out the fundamental rights and freedoms that everyone is entitled to
convention on the Prevention and Punishment often Crime of Genocide 1948 and Right to Equality and the Prohibition of Discrimination on Race, colour, or ethnic origin.

The Iranian Government continues its program of systematic discrimination and murder of Afghan immigrants, with 2.5 million Afghan refugees residing in Iran and living second class citizens, subject to daily discrimination, humiliations, assaulting, undertaking labour jobs, and forced to live substandard lives in Iran. Their only crime is that they are Afghans Refugees; being a refugee is not a crime.

The media thrives in hiding the real issues occurring to the Afghans diaspora in Iran. In recognition of the current Health Situation in the world, the Iranian Government and health authorities denying COVID19 admission for Afghans patients in Iran's National Hospitals, just because they are Afghans Nationals. This is simply in violation of any Human rights, and it must be followed up by the WHO at UN to make sure we stop the Afghan genocide in Iran.

Furthermore, with the launch of this protest, we are serving as a clear roadmap for our fellow afghans. We Afghan in London hope to point out the issues to International media and ask for justices for Afghan people because Afghan live matters to us and should matter to the world.

There is evidence that on several other occasions, refugees and migrants were tortured and otherwise treated inhumanely while on Iranian soil. Iranian authorities must hold those members of the security forces. They participated in this tragic incident accountable and ordered the security forces' leadership to cease these unlawful actions immediately.

The violence against the Afghan Asylum seekers has been highlighted with the burning Afghans alive by the Iranian Regime. Enough is Enough, and now we want to hear our voices and speak on behalf of those who cannot share their stories and let the Government of Iran and all others know that we see that Iran Government is trust-passing International law. Being a refugee is not a crime. Afghan Asylum Seeker deserves to be safe from Harassment, discrimination, assaulting, torturing, discrimination, and cold-blooded murdering.
