https://www.change.org/p/huffington-post-remove-comic-joking-about-rape-and-sexual-assault If you think it's odd to see an article like that posted on a site like the Huffington Post that features so much content about the importance of taking rape and sexual assault seriously, then you aren't the only one. Hopefully, when their attention is drawn to it, the Huffington Post will find it odd as well, and remove it. 3 Reasons the Huffing Post Should Remove This Article Joking About Sexual Assault: 1. It's an opportunity to prove they're serious about putting an end to rape culture. Every day that passes with this cartoon floating among their articles calling us all to action erodes their credibility in the fight against sexual assault. 2. It's an opportunity to show compassion. The Huffington Post has here a chance to prove they aren't a faceless media machine, but an organization of intelligent people who care about the world they're part of. 3. It's an opportunity to show integrity. Nobody is perfect. Sooner or later everybody makes a mistake. The real test comes when it's time to address that mistake. They should admit it was a moment of poor judgement and make it right by removing their links to the article, rather than pretend it didn't happen.
