The Howick community has been served for many years by Adele White. Thousands of children and community members have benefited from her knowledge, hard work, determination and community minded approach.

Now, without provocation, the chairman of the Howick Local Board, Michael Williams, is attempting to remove Adele from her position as deputy chair.

We believe Adele White is a fine and upstanding Howick citizen and should continue to serve Howick as deputy chair of our Local Board.

We call on members of the Howick Local Board to vote against any motion to remove Adele White from this position.
