During these difficult times, economies are struggling daily with many people losing their jobs. We in the United Kingdom need to get back to manufacturing on a larger scale and protect our homeland.

Here is an example of why we are up against the unfair competition of some larger economies. Many people may not know that as well as undermining their own citizens' human rights; China as an example is abusing them on a large scale by imprisoning hundreds of thousands of people who are used as slave labour to produce cheap (often shoddy) goods which we have been buying for years.
The disgraceful abuse of the Uighur people (in the main) who live mainly in the NW of China, must give all of us cause for concern. This surely has parallels with the abuses of captive nations being used as slave labour in the 30's and 40's. Many being starved, beaten and dying in shocking misery.

Can I please request that likeminded citizens of our great country please support and respond to your local councillors and MP's by highlighting this great injustice on many levels? This in my humble opinion is not scaremongering, but something we can tackle and change if we unite in our disgust in how goods which, are effectively made in "concentration camps" are brought to our retail sector. Cheap has a price but it's the human price that is being used in this most repugnant manner that must be raised, discussed and dealt with.

Can I respectfully ask that you look at where you purchase your products from and help us to bring in legislation that tells a potential buyer where the product was made rather than where it was assembled?
