This petition is created to urge the members of the House of Assembly to review the law that banned Adult’s Toy in Turk & Caicos Islands. There is no ground for the government to intervene in an individual’s personal life by banning imports of adult sex products.
Sex toy usage among couples is probably more common than you would expect, and the industry is growing rapidly.

Forbes report from 2016 found that the once "niche" sex toy market is now an "unstoppable $15 billion industry." It's also projected to not only hit, but surpass $50 billion by 2020.

Critical Points to Consider:

The morality of an issue should not come into play of its legality, when between consenting adults. The product allows couples to enjoy new avenues of pleasure. Some relationships have a partner with a higher labido, and so it helps them stay together because they can tend to the needs when necessary. Studies has found that, sex toys help in reducing stress and anxiety, as sexual activity results in the release of endorphins in the body that can block pain.

·        It is not fair that men generally are able to achieve sexual pleasure more easily than women. Sex toys are often able to do for women, what happens much easier for men.
·         When a marriage involves someone with lower sex drive, sex toys can assist the person with a lower sex drive, to assist them share in more unifying expressions of desire between the couple. It add an extra opportunity to explore the unknown of you and your partners body!

·         The most effective way not to get pregnant and/or STDs

·         self-pleasure is apart of self love which is also part of the self-care category

·         It helps people with physical/mental disabilities be able to have sexual fulfilment

·         Sex toys are an opportunity to explore one's sexual preferences.

·         Sex toys help fight libido decline. Sex toys give genital stimulation which is healthy, especially for women experiencing libido decline.

·         Sex toys help fight loneliness and help partners to control sexual urge especially on nights when they long for their partner (who is away for the weekend perhaps). They offer an alternative to loneliness and discourages infidelity in relationships.

We are asking the Government to appeal the law so adults can have the privilege to do what pleases them in the comfort of their home.
