Link for Hounslow Council - Everglades Project
In reference to the proposed construction of 33 new dwellings at the Everglades Pears Road.
We the neighbouring residents write with our serious concerns regarding 33 new homes built on Pears Road.
Pears Road Resident would like to share our deep concerns for the project. With no notification through the local council only through a third party Daylight.
We were not asked to provide our objections.
To view planning application has been inaccessible of what the proposed project would look like finished.
It would have been transparent and helpful to this process if the developer had included all the drawings for the immediate residents so there was time for everyone to understand exactly what was being proposed.
Also Hounslow council focus only on profit incom from sales all new building flats, demolish all garages to make new play area and bike storage. We have fantastic play area in Inwood park, 1min walking from Everglades. Hounslow Council do not focus on security, we have return problems with drugs and crime. Police officers visit Everglades every week few times, Hounslow council should focus to secure this area, but they not do tat.
We hope that in future discussions of this project there will be more collaborative consultation with the residents and that the developer will be more forthcoming with all of the information they have available when discussing such a radical transformation. The following itemized list addresses our initial concerns.
1. Loss of Light overshadowing, overlooking
2. Removal of all 38 garages will cause issues with parking for residents
3. Development designed to deter crime
4. Incrase crime and drugs activity
5. No CCTV for security reason
6. Additionl flats will paralised local roads because peples will fighting for parking space. Now we have very big problem when residents needed to park own cars. On weekend its impossible because no permit on weekend reqied.
