Graduating seniors in the Class of 2027 who attended Wiley Elementary School wish to be celebrated in a clap-out tradition hosted by many elementary schools in the Wake County Public School System. While our peers get to attend these events, we former Wiley students often feel excluded. We humbly request to have our own clap-out celebration as a tribute to not only the achievements of the graduates of the Class of 2027, but also an acknowledgement of how our elementary school prepared us to continue our education.
