In 2019, the "Horseland" sim game shut down. This game was a staple of my childhood, and a staple of many others' childhoods as well. I played it all through elementary, middle, and high school until around 2017, two years before it was taken down and retired. It was an absolutely delightful game. You would buy virtual horses, breed them, show them and exchange goods and services with other players. You could chat with your friends, or make really cool graphics, or make shows. The breeding aspect was fun because you could have entire pedigree lines of horses, and the points the horse had earned would carry on into his offspring. You could try to get the colors/stats you wanted, and breed with other players' studs, or sell your horses to others.

While there are other games similar, none are quite like it at all. The game had a very enjoyable format and an addictive formula. Many people hold it dear to their hearts. For some it's where they learned how to graphic design. For others, they learned a lot about horses, or were able to otherwise fulfill their equestrian desires through the use of the game. 

I want Horseland LLC to bring it back. I was just starting college when it was shut down, so I missed out on the why's and how's. I want to show them that they still have support from past players or potential future players alike. Maybe they would then consider bringing back this game so that people could enjoy it once again. I feel like a part of my childhood has been killed knowing that I can never revisit this site or play it again. 

Please, Horseland, come back. If you see this petition, please communicate to us what needs to happen for Horseland to come back. I feel like Horseland is missing out on the pandemic and on the value of nostalgia. Many games have very small/cheap monthly subscription packages now, or offer premium "packs" and et cetera and I think if this was implemented it could help pay for the site's maintenance.

I and the people who sign this petition just really want to see their favorite game again. I would be over the moon if I could create another horse show or design another home page. Please return, Horseland.
