On August 1, a motion was filed to stop new construction in Horry County. This is because the worst flood we have ever experienced came through our county. Nearly 1,000 people have signed a petition to ban new construction in all of Horry County. These people are deciding the fate of the 25,000+ people with jobs that could be lost with this ban. Without new construction, our economy cannot succeed, and it will ultimately fail. Please consider stopping this ban, and sign this petition!
