Get Gup as an enemy or boss in Risk of Rain 2

The Issue

(Picture above is a concept art piece made by me)

Seeing as gup in RoR1 (Risk of Rain 1) was a bit of a pushover due to their home stage, I think that a RoR2 (Risk of Rain 2) version of 'em could do them justice. RoR1 gup only has a melee attack, meaning they have to get close to the player to even attack. Since there were multiple short ledges on the ground of their home stage (Hive Cluster), they were basically just free money since they couldn't even jump up to clear said ledge. Since RoR2 tends to give returning melee enemies some sort of ranged attack to compensate for the 3D environment (lemurians, stone golems, etc.), I think gup could benefit from it too (example: shoot balls of goop/gips at the player). An enemy that when killed splits into smaller ones could also be a cool concept that'd be neat in RoR2. Maybe geeps (smaller gups also from RoR1) are faster and focus more on getting close to the player to attack them.

tl;dr: Gup as an enemy in RoR1 left a lot to be desired. Given the potential slime enemies in general have, I think they'd be a good fit in RoR2.
