We call on the Government of India to honour Hanuman Ansh as the “National Motion Picture of Bharat” through special honorary recognition that celebrates its spiritual and cultural significance.

As a proud native of Bharat, I make this appeal from my heart. For me, Hanuman Ansh evokes profound spiritual joy, gratitude towards our Gurus, Sadhus and Saints, and renewed pride in the sacred heritage we have inherited.

The film portrays Neem Karoli Baba, and its emotional resonance with devotees has been reflected. It invites us to reflect on the enduring place of the Guru in our lives, our communities and our nation.

Bharat is revered as Karma Bhoomi—a land where dharma finds expression through our actions, service and spiritual practice. Our Gurus, Sadhus and Saints have helped people find hope in hardship, courage in uncertainty, wisdom in their choices and devotion in everyday life.

At the heart of this inheritance is Guru parampara: the sacred, living tradition through which wisdom, spiritual understanding and values pass from Guru to disciple, generation after generation. This transmission continues today—in teachings, in service and in the lives of those who carry that wisdom forward.

To me, the Guru and Guru parampara form part of the very spiritual DNA of Bharat and Sanatana Dharma.

Our children and future generations deserve opportunities to discover this heritage, understand its meaning and experience its relevance in their own lives. Cinema can help create that connection through stories that touch the heart and inspire curiosity.

National recognition for Hanuman Ansh would celebrate its contribution to this connection. It would honour the Guru’s enduring place in our society and the values of humility, compassion, service and devotion that this tradition nurtures.

We respectfully ask the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to consider this proposed honorary recognition and publicly respond to this appeal.

We welcome support from everyone who values cultural and spiritual heritage, respects teachers and spiritual guides, and wishes to preserve this inheritance for future generations.

Let Bharat show the world that we recognise this precious heritage with pride, practise it with sincerity and pass it on with love.
