The Issue

Stephen (Steve) Williams is a father, family man, and active member in society. Steve works tirelessly and advocates for the betterment of youth and the less fortunate.  Raised in tumultuous and dangerous times in Asbury Park, New Jersey Stephen was able to make it to Delaware State University where he later obtained both his Bachelor and Master degrees. He credits Delaware State University for saving his life and teaching him the life skills needed to thrive in society.

Steve fell on hard times after losing his job with the City of Asbury Park in 2012. He soon after unknowingly developed an addiction to gambling. He returned to his Alma Mater Delaware State University in hopes of landing a job or at very least some guidance. He was offered a chance to work with students who was struggling financially. He thought this was an opportunity to make a difference and help him provide for his daughter. This "opportunity" turned out to be a federal crime. Steve has now pleaded guilty to one(1) count of bribery. Steve usually does what's right, this one and only time he made a mistake that can possibly cost him his freedom. Please help Steve stay home to fix things with Delaware State University.
