Reopen the Case for William "Tommy" Bedwell

Reopen the Case for William "Tommy" Bedwell
The Issue
In December 1997 a man was sentenced to life with no chance of prole, with no physical evidence. His entire case was hinged on the testimony of his co-defendant and a jail house informant. In 2010 the co-defendant admitted that he lied out of fear from the person who killed the victim and also to secure the 38 year plea bargain the state offered instead of the death sentence. Due to the understanding that the State Attorney would take back the plea bargain and request that he be given the Electric chair, the co-defendant refused to sign a sworn affidavit. With this new evidence and 2 sworn affidavits from reliable sources we are praying that his last motion be re-viewed.
