Recently, the post had said "throughout the 1970's." I revised it to read, "throughout the 1960's and 1970's." This small and maybe seemingly insignificant fact is actually quite the opposite. It lays more evidence to the horror and extent of "Brother Paul's camp for troubled boys." I sincerely apologize to the victims abused there throughout the 1960's for unintentionally minimizing your abuse. There is no excuse for this short-sightedness. I should have taken more care to ensure all of the victims are validated, as that is my ultimate goal here. 

With that said, we’re at 113 supporters, with 1,084 views and 94 shares so far! 22 people have promoted the petition, totaling $360 in donations — though just a heads-up, I recently learned most of that money goes straight to Change.org, not toward promoting the petition itself, something to keep in mind. 

Made a few calls to the DNR again today. They told me it’s still “being looked into.” I asked for a more direct contact, and they gave me one. Tried calling it — no luck getting through. I’ll try again tomorrow.

Also emailed their media person, Ed Golder (golderv@michigan.gov). I’ve emailed him before but realized I’d mistyped his address last time, so that’s on me. Haven’t heard back yet.
