Since being notified by the DNR that our proposal is under review, I have paused the frequency of my emails to the decision-makers to allow them space to investigate. However, I intend to stay vigilant and will be calling their office tomorrow to request an update. I will also resume emailing the other decision-makers as I believe they should have spoken up by now.

Our petition’s signature rate remains very strong—holding steady at nearly 11%, which is almost triple Change.org’s average of 4%. This clearly shows the level of concern and awareness among the public.

This memorial effort has three purposes, for me. To validate the survivors and their families, to send a message to those actively engaging in child abuse, and to try and raise public awareness.

North Fox Island shows that Epstein’s case is not an isolated incident. These abuses have been happening—and likely still are—in many forms and places. 

In addition to North Fox Island, the Strang cult on nearby Beaver Island is another historical example of the abuse of power in Michigan's dark past. And these incidents aren’t tied to just the islands. The North Fox Island pedophile ring largely operated out of the Detroit area, where they very likely also distributed child sexually abusive material.
