My girlfriend and I had big plans for our future together, which included caring for her beloved dog, Kiblu. We dreamed of a life filled with joy and companionship, with Kiblu as an integral part of it. Sadly, those dreams were cut short when she unexpectedly took her own life, leaving a void in my heart and a question about the future of Kiblu.

Kiblu was not just a pet; she was her family. She often spoke about how much she loved her and how she envisioned her becoming part of our shared life. We had planned that when we moved in together, I'd take care of Kiblu as if she were my own. This mutual understanding was a testament to the bond we shared and our commitment to ensuring Kiblu's well-being.

However, since her passing, I have faced challenges in formalizing this arrangement. Mainly due to her grandmother continually taking in strays and not being able to properly provide for her. The house was a terrible environment for pets, let alone my girlfriend. Anyone who visited, knew the horrid state and poor cleanliness of what had to be called her home. To honor her memory and the wishes we had for Kiblu, I am asking for the rightful authority to take ownership and proper care of Kiblu. She would have a loving, stable home with me, exactly as we both intended. I wish to have her grandmother's cooperation in making this change, but her reluctance to participate and help this situation leads me to believe she may be combative. If I have people who can vouch for me and have authorities realize the disarray of that household and her owner's unhealthy mental state to deem her unworthy of keeping Kiblu. I am not afraid to take legal action with this choice, but it would be made much easier seeing the support of everyone in favor of me becoming that guardian.

Kiblu deserves to be with someone who understands the depth of love my girlfriend had for her and who had committed to being her caregiver. This is about fulfilling a promise made to someone who meant the world to me and ensuring that her beloved pet continues to feel that love and care.
