This was the life of Maumau General Kiambati Njora (1920 – 2026),Kenya’s last Mau Mau generals. He fought so we could wake up today without fear, speak freely, walk safely, and live in a country shaped by his courage.

He carried history on his shoulders, survived hardships most of us cannot imagine, and nurtured a family whose lives he loved beyond measure. He was more than a soldier of independence ... he was a grandfather, a guide, and a living testament to bravery, resilience, and sacrifice.

Now, as his journey on this earth comes to a close, we, his family, want to honor him in a way that reflects the life he lived. We want the world to remember him, to feel the weight of what he carried, and to witness the dignity of his legacy.
