For over two decades, Jason Connor dedicated his life to nurturing the musical talents of our children at Langford Elementary in Austin, Texas. Starting as a Teaching Assistant in 1994, he returned to school and became the music teacher we all came to know and love. His passion for music and commitment to our community was unparalleled. He spent 26 years at Langford doing great things for our kids until his retirement in December 2020.

Tragically, Mr. Connor passed away in April 2021 leaving a void that can never be filled. However, we have an opportunity to honor his memory and ensure that his legacy lives on.

We propose naming the music room after him - The Jason Connor Music Room - as a fitting tribute to this extraordinary man who gave so much of himself for our community.
