Restore the "Rural Corridor" - Keep The Country Country!

The Issue

                                KEEP THE COUNTRY COUNTRY!

The COVID19 pandemic should make us a little wiser and be more prepared. We must continue to protect and maintain Sustainability and Diversification for Oahu. (Even stockbrokers diversify their investments.)

We cannot turn Oahu into a big parking lot. We live in the most remote islands in the world. We must protect all sustainable options for ourselves and future generations.

Resolution 21-23 to adopt the revised Oahu General Plan will have its final Hearing on December 1, 2021.

Ask the Honolulu City Council:

1. RESTORE the Keep the Country Country "rural corridor" in the Oahu General Plan by Adopting the "Grassroots Map" submitted to them by residents.

2. DELETE the Honolulu Department of Planning and Permitting's (DPP) confusing and inconsistent Map on page 21.

On one hand, DPP wants “To develop the urban corridor stretching from Wai‘alae-Kāhala to Pearl City."

On the other hand, DPP's Map breaks up The Keep The Country CountryRural Corridor” stretching from Kahalu'u to Kaena Point.

Please sign this petition to stand with Keep the Country Forever.

Aloha Aina and Keep the Country Country values to preserve rural character and its natural, cultural, scenic, and agricultural, open space, environment, diversified economy profit and sustain every one.
