The pickup truck market is no longer only about utility. It is also about performance. This is the reason why the Ford F-150 Raptor, a bear of an off-roader that can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds, has become the poster boy of the modern pickup. The truck market is notoriously brand-loyal, so any new challengers to the segment would have to bring their best just to be recognized.  Honda Motor Company already has the legacy, resources and talent to do just that.

We need a special model that stands out from the rest.  Honda needs to develop a Honda Ridgeline so that it is worthy to be on the cover of magazines and be featured in movies and video games.  We demand a fast street truck unlike any other that can also be put on the track and can be off-road capable.  We demand insane horsepower, handling and aggressive styling to match.  What the world needs is a Honda Ridgeline Type R!
