Make the Honda Ridgeline and Passport Body on Frame

Make the Honda Ridgeline and Passport Body on Frame
Why this petition matters

Everyone knows that Americans love pickup trucks and SUVs. Currently, the Ridgeline and Passport aren’t truck chassis right now and they would sell way better if they were body on frame. I personally think all trucks would be better if they were body on frame because they are meant to haul and tow stuff and go off road and body on frame construction does a better performance on off roading and towing. I know that Toyota makes several body on frame vehicles such as the Tacoma and 4Runner. The Ridgeline will compete with the Tacoma and the Passport will compete with the 4Runner. Also, the Toyota 4Runner is the only midsize SUV that uses body on frame construction and that’s why I also want the Honda Passport to be body on frame to compete with the 4Runner. I care for the car industry to be successful because that would help people’s futures. I know that one downside of body on frame construction is it’s heavier which means that it won’t get as good fuel economy but body on frame construction would be better for these models. Suspension wise, the Ridgeline will have and independent front suspension and solid rear axle. The Passport will have independent suspensions all the way around to enable fold flat seating because that way you can get a third row that won’t take up too much space if folded down.
