I wish to bring to your kind attention about our long suffering. We've appeared for Assistant Engineer Combined Examination conducted by BPSC vide Adv. No. 02/2017. But the recruitment process is taking an era to complete. The vacancy was announced long back in February 2017. Prelims Examination was conducted on 15 September 2018, result of which was published in January 2019. Thereafter, Mains Examination was conducted in the last week of March 2019 since when our everlasting wait is going on.

We want to ask why are these intimation published if they ought to make us wait for so long. Officials of BPSC are never able to reply to our queries whenever we seek information regarding the dates of recruitment process. We also want to bring to your kind notice that this BPSC Advertisement for recruitment of Asst. Engineers came after a very long waiting period. The previous advertisement of this category was announced long back in 2011. So, when it came after such a long wait, we expected it to be very swift for the betterment of Bihar State.

If the vacancies aren't for immediate effect, why is the recruitment process started in first place and create false hope, unwanted stress and frustration among the candidates? How can a recruitment process take such long time in modern technological era?
